You must be 18 or older to use this site, including HLL Find, the writing, and Landing Notes. If you are under 18, do not use the site.

Not professional advice

How Love Lands is a publication and a matching aid. It is not professional, therapeutic, or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed professional. HLL Find is not a diagnosis. It shows a starting point from the options you explicitly choose. Your judgment remains your own. If you may be in danger, or if you need care from a clinician, contact a licensed professional or local emergency services.

The site

Writing on the site is editorial. Recommendations are chosen in your browser from a fixed catalog and the answers you select. We can change, remove, or correct pages. Some resources are concepts, links to other publishers, or offers that may be unavailable.

Affiliate links

Some links may be affiliate links. How Love Lands may earn a commission if you choose to buy, at no extra cost that we add. Affiliate status does not determine editorial placement or matching. The footer of the site and the results view repeat this disclosure. A purchase happens on the other site, under that site’s terms.

Landing Notes

The email field in the footer does not subscribe you by itself. Continue opens Beehiiv so you can finish signup there. Beehiiv’s terms apply to that signup.

Acceptable use

Use the site for your own reading and for the Find flow. Do not attempt to break the site, probe it for other people’s information, or present it as clinical care. The safety resources linked from Find are third-party services with their own terms.

Disclaimers

The site is provided as available. We do not warrant that a recommendation will fit your relationship, that an outside link will remain accurate, or that the site will be uninterrupted. To the extent California law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent California law allows, How Love Lands is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the site or from a third-party resource you open. Our total liability for a claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars. These limits do not apply where California law does not allow them, including liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

California law governs these terms and your use of the site, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in California are the venue for disputes, except that you may also bring an individual claim in small-claims court. These terms do not require arbitration.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
